Call for Students:

New joint Master's Programme "Economic Change in the Arab Region - ECAR", Universities of Marburg and Damascus

In August 2009 University Marburg (Germany) and University Damascus (Syria) will start a new joint Master's Programme "Economic Change in the Arab Region - ECAR". The 3 semester Master's course offers modern economic knowledge with a specific focus on the Arab region.

It is designed for an international group of students from Arab countries and Germany. Lectures will be held in English and take place as well in Marburg as in Damascus. All participants will receive a scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) which covers living and travelling expenses. A double degree will be awarded.
