Lund University has once again confirmed its status as one of the world’s top 100 universities, following today’s release of the 2010 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and last week’s 2010 QS World University Ranking report.

Lund University is now the highest ranked comprehensive university in Scandinavia, according to the Times Higher Education Rankings. In the Times Higher Education Rankings, Lund University is ranked in 89th place.

Last week’s QS World University Ranking report placed the University in 72nd place.

The Times Higher Education and QS rankings are two of the most recognised sources of worldwide university comparative performance and the reports are eagerly anticipated by universities and students each year.

Lund University has consistently been ranked as one of the world’s top 100 universities in recent years, reflecting its ongoing strength in research, innovation and education. The University is the strongest research university in Sweden and offers over 80 Master’s level programmes taught in English.

During August, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s 2010 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) placed Lund University in the top 100-150 universities of the world.
