Thanks Mahmood & SBG, With William and Alexander and (the coming-soon) Laila, I am well qualified to claim a place among the patriarchs. I will do my nest to enjoy this change.
Just out of interest, how did you choose their names? When I first read them, the inspirations appeared to be of epic proportion. One was a Conqueror, the other was Great (and an even bigger conqueror), while the last one made men lose all reason and sanity upon seeing her!
I wish I knew. These are my grandchildren. Their parents name them. I am sure they have their reasons. I just follow the crowd and murmur some paraphrased thing from Shakespeare: What's in a name? That which we call a grandchild. By any other word would be as lovely and as sweet.
Thank you Dr. Haitham. I consolidated, yesterday, my role as a patriarch with the arrival of Leila, the first female in my branch of the family. A new world seems to open!
I couldn't congratulate you on the birth of Leila on her post, so please excuse me for barging into Alex's post and congratulating you on Leila's arrival here!

And love to both sets of parents as well.
Thanks brother Mahmood for your kindness! The 'no-comments' in Leila's post was simply to save space.
Now, no one can beat Jaddleila as a blog name of its own. Congratulations!
